Job Summary
Director, Head of Credit & Insurance role in eBay Financial Services. Lead global Credit & Insurance business line, defining multi-year strategy and roadmap for seller financing products, BNPL/buyer credit, and protection/insurance; own revenue, margin, and portfolio health; drive adoption across markets; build end-to-end customer journeys with Product, Development, and Engineering; manage partner strategy and governance with BNPL providers, lenders, banks, and insurers; ensure compliance with EU/UK/US/AU regulations; collaborate with Risk, Legal/Compliance, Analytics, Marketing, regional teams; require deep experience in credit, embedded lending, and cross-functional leadership across multiple regions.
Required Qualifications
- 12–15+ years in credit, fintech, embedded lending, or large-scale retail/e-commerce
- Global portfolio management of $1B+ in credit originations
- At least 5 years at Director or GM level with P&L responsibility
- Based in Europe with leadership across US, EU, or Australia
- Experience in marketplace financing (MCA, revenue-based finance, term loans, LOC) and BNPL/credit options
- Embedded protection/insurance for buyers and sellers during online transactions
- Regulatory and risk management knowledge across EU, UK, US, AU
- Partnership management for lending, BNPL, and insurance partnerships
- Strong product and UX collaboration with Product and Tech
- Data-driven communication with senior executives
- Experience with DeFi/blockchain financial solutions a plus
