Job Summary
Director of Growth Marketing at 7shifts leads end-to-end growth including pipeline, self-serve activation, and ACV expansion across 55k+ restaurant customers. Owns budget, targets, and a 4–5 person growth team spanning paid, organic, lifecycle, web/CRO, and events; collaborates with GTM Engineering to deploy automation and AI-backed workflows. Drives an acquisition strategy across paid, partnerships, events, webinars, organic, and self-serve funnels; builds scalable playbooks for high-velocity and MM SaaS motions and partners with CS and Account Management for cross-sell programs. Sets operating model, planning cadence, and real-time reporting to optimize CAC, pipeline, and revenue contribution. Demonstrates hands-on capability with Google Ads, CRO, automation tools, and data-driven decision making; communicates a clear point of view on positioning, channel mix, and ICP scoring. Desirable experience in restaurant, multi-location SMB, or hospitality-tech domains and familiarity with PLG and sales-assisted motions. The role supports hybrid work with offices in Saskatoon and Toronto, Canada, and includes a flexible vacation policy and a 90 Day Shift program enabling near-remote work. This is a Canadian-based role with remote options and a strong emphasis on AI-enabled growth at scale.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in growth, performance, or demand generation
- 3+ years managing a team of marketers in a B2B SaaS environment
- experience managing an annual budget of $2M+ across paid, lifecycle, web, and emerging channels
- hands-on ability to write code or build automations (Python, SQL, Zapier, LLM workflows)
- strong analytical skills with dashboards and marketing attribution
- ability to define positioning, segmentation, and channel mix with data-backed opinions
- experience with AI-native workflows and automation
- experience collaborating with GTM Engineering, Sales, PMM, and Data teams
- ability to plan and drive CAC and pipeline targets across multiple channels
