Director - Group Financial Reporting (fixed term contract)

Job Summary
Lead the production and delivery of consolidated Group financial statements and external reports, ensuring timely, consistent monthly delivery. Own the Group reporting process, drive continuous improvements, and act as the key coordinator with auditors for deliverables and sign-off. Manage financial reporting in compliance with Group policies, oversee team consolidation, and produce quarterly analytical review packs for senior leadership. Coordinate month-end closes with divisional teams, manage reporting across finance systems, and lead transitions to new platforms like FCC, Workiva, and Fusion. Collaborate with FP&A, Investor Relations, and IT to resolve system issues and ensure alignment with Data Governance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent
- Extensive post-qualified experience
- Proficiency in IFRS accounting standards
- Strong stakeholder and project management capabilities
- Ability to build effective global working relationships
- Effective oral and written communication tailored to diverse audiences
- Management skills to lead both senior accountants and non-finance personnel
- Proactive work ethic with initiative to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Problem-solving skills leveraging available resources and tools
- Strong planning and prioritisation aligned with business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Fusion, FCC and Workiva preferred
