Director - Government Reimbursement

Prepare and file Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare cost reports by federal and state deadlines, maintaining supporting schedules and analysis. Coordinate audits, prepare work papers, and analyze MAC correspondence to ensure accurate reimbursement and regulatory compliance. Research reimbursement issues with senior management, optimize payment strategies, and assist with graduate medical education and IRIS software submissions. Review remittance advices, settle cost reports, and manage appeals where applicable. This Director role reports to the Government Reimbursement Executive Director at Piedmont Healthcare Corporate.
