Job Summary
Director leads M-PACT Trade Compliance Consulting team, driving client engagement and organic growth, developing new services, and ensuring excellence in delivery. Responsibilities include leading client engagements, developing proposals and SOWs, representing the practice at industry events, expanding the portfolio of trade compliance services, mentoring a team of professionals, overseeing multiple projects to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes, and providing subject-matter expertise on U.S. import/export regulations with focus on risk mitigation and regulatory changes. Candidates should possess deep knowledge of customs compliance, trade programs, and the ability to translate market needs into scalable consulting solutions. Salary range $125,000–$140,000 with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed U.S. Customs Broker (Required)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in import and export compliance
- Proven experience in a client-facing, consulting, or advisory role
- Demonstrated success in business development and client growth
- Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and client agreements
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams
- Experience overseeing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
