Job Summary
Lead technical accounting research and documentation on revenue recognition from out-licensing, mergers & acquisitions, divestments, alliances, collaboration agreements, and R&D in-licensing arrangements, as well as lease agreements; review accounting treatments of financial instruments; assess group accounting consequences for complex transactions; collaborate across Consolidations & Statutory Reporting and with Account to Report, Tax, and External Auditors; write formal accounting position papers and memos for internal and external use; participate in global accounts committees; contribute to hard closing through documentation of one-off transactions; ensure compliance with the Sanofi Global Guide of Accounting (SAGA) and IFRS/US GAAP; support SOX requirements and contribute to the Group accounting manual; interact with senior management and external auditors; CPA is required and 7-10 years of experience in a public accounting context preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA Certification
- 7-10 years of professional experience
- Management/supervision experience in a public accounting firm
- Knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
