Director, Global Structural & Shipbuilding Segments

Job Summary
Create the business plan and playbook outlining how existing Lincoln Electric solutions penetrate the shipbuilding segment. Manage solution development for the segment, coordinate training across global regions to drive sales growth, and highlight product and applications capabilities required for long-term expansion. Identify and target key customers with each regional sales team to foster revenue and relationship growth. Collaborate with global Product Management, Applications Engineering, and Regional Presidents to achieve progress in these areas. Elevate the company profile through industry associations and trade shows while providing monthly segment data reporting. This role reports to the Vice President, Global Industry Segments, with potential locations in Cleveland or other hubs of significant industry activity.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Engineering
- Business degree MBA
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience in the Shipbuilding Industry
- Business planning experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to build internal and external connections and work in teams
- Excellent project management skills
- Extensive knowledge of welding products, applications and product manufacturing
- Applications, Product and Manufacturing Knowledge for Welding Products and Selected Segment
- Ability to work with aggressive timetables and delivery schedules
- Willingness to commit to what is needed to bring a project to completion on a timely basis
- Ability to work well within a dynamic and fluid team environment
- Ability to travel internationally
- Estimated travel is 40% annually
