Job Summary
Director, Global Strategic Sourcing leads enterprise-wide sourcing across all spend categories with emphasis on technology and cloud. Responsibilities include building and leading a global sourcing team, negotiating complex contracts with hyperscalers and SaaS providers, developing category strategies aligned with technology roadmaps (cloud migration, SaaS rationalization, cybersecurity investments), partnering with Engineering, InfoSec, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to align sourcing with business objectives and risk tolerance, implementing supplier governance and diversity initiatives, and delivering measurable savings across all non-technology categories while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction enterprise-wide.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience, including significant leadership of technology and cloud categories
- Proven track record negotiating complex, high-value contracts with hyperscalers, SaaS providers, and strategic vendors
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams across multiple geographies and time zones
- Experience with digital procurement and contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Ironclad, Oracle)
- Ability to effectively interact with senior leadership as well as external stakeholders, including C-suite executives at strategic suppliers
- Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote skills
- Experience in a roll-up-your-sleeves environment is a plus
