Job Summary
Director, Global Procurement leads global procurement strategy across direct materials, contract manufacturing, logistics, and indirect spend; negotiates with OEMs, CMs, and distributors to drive sustainable cost reduction; builds and maintains supplier relationships, governance, and scorecards; ensures data-driven decision making through cost modeling, should-cost analyses, and commodity pricing governance; partners with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering and Finance to align sourcing with demand planning and working capital objectives; develops contingency plans for supply chain disruptions; leads and develops a high-performing global procurement organization with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement; requires a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of leadership experience in a global manufacturing or technology environment and strong expertise in contract negotiations and analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience, with significant leadership experience at the Director or Senior Manager level in a global manufacturing or technology environment
- Demonstrated success driving large-scale cost reduction initiatives across direct, indirect, and logistics spend
- Deep expertise in contract negotiations with OEMs, CMs, and global distributors
- Strong experience in cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and commodity pricing governance
- Proven ability to build, lead, and scale teams, including remote and global organizations
- Advanced analytical skills with strong financial acumen
- Expertise with ERP/MRP systems and advanced supply chain analytics tools
