Job Summary
Director, Global Operations Governance leads the global governance framework for Vertiv’s operations, partnering with regional leaders, VOS, PMO, and GBUs to design, implement, and enforce KPI reporting across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost, and other metrics. Drives Lean deployment, AI-enabled operations, and a high-performance culture while managing cross-functional programs, portfolio governance, and strategic initiative deployment. Focus areas include governance cadence, data integrity, performance management, customer experience, and digital transformation through ERP/MES/WMS/QMS systems. Requires senior leadership collaboration, change leadership, and talent development to sustain manufacturing excellence across a global network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field (required)
- Master's degree (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent) preferred
- 15+ years of experience in operations management, continuous improvement, or program management in global manufacturing environments (implied by senior role)
- Strong governance, compliance, and project/program management capabilities
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with AI adoption and digital tools in manufacturing settings
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional, matrixed teams across multiple regions
- Travel capability to meet 25-35% (as per travel requirements)
