Director, Global Oncology Patient Advocacy

Job Summary
Amplify the patient voice by partnering with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and HEOR teams to integrate patient perspectives into development programs, study designs, and recruitment strategies. Develop and execute the global patient advocacy strategy while establishing standards and fostering strong relationships with global patient advocacy organizations and communities. Represent Immatics in external forums, monitor evolving patient needs, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for clinical development and commercialization. Ensure patient insights are systematically gathered and communicated to enable organizational decision-making, while measuring advocacy impact on business objectives. Lead initiatives promoting knowledge sharing and patient-centric approaches across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, healthcare, public health, social sciences, or related discipline
- 10 years of experience in patient advocacy, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, clinical development, medical affairs, public health, or related fields
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
- Visa sponsorships may be available for certain roles
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Degree (MPH, APRN, PharmD or PhD)
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing global patient advocacy, patient engagement, or patient-centered strategies
- Experience and existing relationships with patient advocacy organizations, patient communities, and external stakeholders on a global scale
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across regions and organizational levels
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills; competent and confident in presenting to senior leadership as well as in lay terms to appropriately engage with patients and advocates
