Job Summary
Director, Global Markets Corporate Banking at BMO Capital Markets leads an experienced team in the end-to-end execution of complex, cross-border trading facilities and underwriting transactions. The role involves due diligence, financial analysis, structuring and negotiation of legal documentation, and active risk monitoring across a diversified portfolio including commodities and trading products. Responsibilities include managing client relationships and portfolios, coordinating with Trading, Legal, Credit Risk, Operations, and external counsel; supervising Associates and Analysts; driving efficiency and execution of strategic initiatives; and ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. Required qualifications include 10+ years of capital markets or corporate banking experience, post-secondary degree, knowledge of trading products, credit adjudication, and strong communication and leadership skills. For this role, candidatures in Toronto or Calgary (Canada) are eligible, with on-site presence expected at the office locations.
