Job Summary
Own and drive the cadence of technical forums including TPM, Engineering Leader, and Architecture forums to ensure structured agendas and followed actions. Manage day-to-day operational activities of the Hyderabad GIC by partnering with Finance, Procurement, IT, and HR to scale the site and build process resiliency. Lead coordination for office expansion across two new floors, serving as the single point of accountability for milestones and risk management while aligning space with workforce planning. Drive structured efforts to improve coding velocity scores by setting targets and building action plans with engineering leads. Plan and deliver all executive-level events including ExCo visits and leadership town halls, while managing the Managing Director's operational needs and travel planning. Advance the AI reusability agenda across engineering communities, breaking silos and tracking progress to unlock data power.
Required Qualifications
- 10–14 years of experience in GIC / shared services / IT operations management
- at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong technical background — prior experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or IT operations
- Proven experience managing large-scale operational or infrastructure projects (office builds, system migrations, forum governance)
- Experience working in or alongside engineering leadership in a global technology organisation
- Communication — you represent the MD's office and work with senior leaders, global partners, and department heads
- Programme and project management — you manage several workstreams at once and keep them moving
- Operational data fluency — you are comfortable working with productivity metrics, budgets, and performance dashboards
- Collaboration — you bring diverse teams together across departments and regions without direct authority
- Change orientation — you are energised by ambiguity, and you can create order and drive adoption of new ways of working
