Director, Global Head of Recruiting

Job Summary

Lead and develop a globally distributed recruiting team while personally owning a requisition load and leading direct searches. Partner with stakeholders across every hub to align hiring strategy with local market realities and business unit needs. Redesign and modernize recruiting processes and infrastructure, leveraging new technologies to fundamentally change how the talent acquisition function sources, assesses, and closes talent. Own requisition administration, headcount planning, and budget tracking in close partnership with FP&A. Build strong partnerships with HR Operations on visas, right-to-work verification, and onboarding to ensure seamless candidate transitions. Champion a consistent, high-quality candidate experience and evolve employer branding strategies to strengthen positioning for AI and engineering talent. Ensure compliance with local employment regulations across all global hub locations.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience
  • tenured experience running a high-performing team and function while directly owning a req load
  • wide and deep experience across both technical and non-technical recruiting
  • highly technical engineering recruitment
  • building a talent-dense GTM division within a high-growth B2B SaaS company
  • proven, hands-on experience rebuilding a recruiting process using the newest technologies
  • strong background in recruiting operations
  • genuine passion for why recops is the foundation of a successful, scalable recruiting team
  • experience managing requisition administration and recruiting budgets
  • track record of close partnership with FP&A on headcount planning and forecasting
  • experience negotiating commercial terms and contracts with recruiting agencies
  • working knowledge of compensation practices across global markets
  • experience partnering with HR Operations on visas/immigration, right-to-work, onboarding, and background check processes
  • experience leading globally distributed recruiting teams
  • partnering with stakeholders across multiple international markets and time zones
  • demonstrated success operating as both a strategic leader and an individual contributor
  • comfortable setting vision and strategy while staying hands-on with sourcing and closing
  • strong data fluency
  • track record of using recruiting metrics to drive decision-making and process improvement
  • experience partnering with senior executives
