Job Summary
Director, Global Climate Strategies leads climate content and strategy development, sourcing and diligencing climate solutions, curating expert reviewers, and building a knowledge repository for Climate Lead’s products and network. The role partners with senior leadership to produce on-demand products and presentations for donors, manages relationships with NGOs and funders, and contributes to cross-team learning and knowledge management. The position emphasizes entrepreneurial and advisory capabilities, external relationship-building, and the ability to move philanthropists to impact through well-crafted climate strategy content; based in London with a remit spanning global climate strategy, partnerships, and program operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of climate strategy/content experience, including climate finance; at least five years in the European region
- Experience leading complex programs or initiatives; ability to work across networks and funder groups
- Strong content development and advisory capabilities; persuasive communication skills
- Experience working in a matrixed or cross-functional environment; proven collaboration and network-activation abilities
- Track record developing persuasive content focused on conveying issues, movements, or causes
- Proficiency with knowledge-management systems (e.g., Salesforce) and donor event content
