Director, Fund Accounting – Private Markets

Job Summary
Manage client deliverables and coordinate with internal departments across multiple jurisdictions to ensure reporting deadlines are met. Develop and maintain Private Equity client reporting calendars while overseeing NAV calculations, audited and unaudited financial statements, partner capital statements, management fee calculations, drawdowns, and distributions. Review general ledgers, sub ledgers, and trial balances for multiple fund clients in accordance with IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, and local standards. Aggregate and reconcile key business metrics, manage the year-end audit process with clients and auditors, and implement new processes to improve control and operating efficiency. Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Implementations, and Sales teams while networking with global investment managers. This Director role supports SS&C GlobeOp's fund administration services for private markets clients in Central London.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience within Fund Accounting, with a focus on Private Equity/Real Asset/Hybrid/Credit funds
- Excellent client relationship and project management skills
- Strong team leadership, training, delegation and work review experience
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, general ledgers and financial statements
- Strong knowledge of private markets, net asset value calculations, investor reporting and capital activities
- Strong experience within Fund Administration and Private Markets
- Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CA or similar)
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively respond to client needs
