Job Summary
Direct FP&A leader responsible for owning Axon's annual budget process, administering the corporate planning system, and acting as the finance business partner to SG&A functions. Lead a high-impact team, drive standardization of processes and controls, and deliver real-time insights to enable EBITDA-focused decisions. Key duties include building a world-class FP&A team, coordinating monthly budget versus actuals, overseeing Procure-to-Pay and POs, developing weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting packages and dashboards, and preparing Board/C‐Suite presentations. Requires an advanced degree in finance, economics, or accounting and 10+ years of FP&A experience, with a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and analytics, plus leadership experience and proficiency with systems like Microsoft D365, Adaptive Planning, and Workday. The role is hybrid, based near Axon's US hubs (Boston, SF, Atlanta, Sterling, Denver, Seattle, NYC, or Scottsdale) with in-office presence Tue–Fri and remote on Mondays, and a strong emphasis on initiative, strategic thinking, and cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting
- Minimum of 10 years of FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business analytics
- Experience building and managing a team
- Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
