Job Summary
Director, Founder's Office to drive local market entry, hiring, fundraising, and partnerships; operate with the Founder, turning ideas into execution across hiring, partnerships, fundraising, and market entry. Build and execute initial hiring plans, support fundraising efforts with materials and investor conversations, establish local presence (office setup, vendors, operating structure), drive external positioning (PR, partnerships, relationships), turn ambiguous ideas into clear plans and ensure execution, and act as a central operator across teams to track priorities and resolve bottlenecks in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment.
Required Qualifications
- Background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles
- Strong generalist - able to switch between strategy, hiring, operations, and execution
- High agency - does not wait for instructions, figures things out and moves
- Strong judgment - able to prioritize what matters and make decisions with incomplete information
- Clear and concise communication - comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners
- High reliability - consistently follows through and delivers
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment
