Job Summary
Manage a multifunctional unit responsible for the safe, cost-effective generation of electricity at the Fort Martin Power Station while meeting all regulatory and environmental standards. Lead, direct, and provide technical guidance to operational groups, including essential personnel for emergency and urgent situations. Foster a high-performing safety culture by mentoring staff, establishing environmental safeguards, and overseeing continuous improvement programs for safety, compliance, and reliability. Direct and prepare multi-year capital scopes, budgets, and execution, while managing outside contractors and ensuring appropriate staffing for uninterrupted services. Establish strategic relationships with community partners, governmental officials, and regulators to exceed organizational objectives. Operate the generation facility in full compliance with applicable environmental and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications

- Demonstrated track record of inclusive people leadership
- Ten (10) plus years of progressively responsible experience in the electric utility industry
- At least five (5) years of management experience in power station operations with modern pollution control equipment or electric utility operations
- An undergraduate technical degree
- Equivalent training and experience to an undergraduate technical degree
