Job Summary
Manage daily food and beverage operations, including staff hiring, training, performance management, and menu planning to ensure nutritional adequacy and adherence to special diet orders. Establish departmental policies and procedures, oversee budget requirements and expenditures, and conduct quality checks on incoming supplies and food preparation. Direct managers and supervisors while optimizing work processes for efficiency and maintaining accurate documentation and cost management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six or more years' experience in food services role
- Four or more years' experience in a supervisory capacity in food services
- ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification
- Required completion of the coursework and a passing score on the examination for Certified Dietary Manager or be in the active pursuit of license/certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management, Human Nutrition or related field
