Job Summary
Director Fleet Intelligence & AI leads end-to-end fleet optimization initiatives for SIXT, owning data science collaborations and building a fleet optimization tool to enable robust, scalable decisions across vehicle purchase and sales. Responsibilities include identifying high-value optimization topics, framing problems, delivering pragmatic solutions that balance sophistication with speed and business value, and driving measurable outcomes. You will work with Demand Management and Operations to refine tools and deploy AI-driven analytics, applying advanced data science to production-ready decision systems and collaborating with business stakeholders across mobility, logistics, and revenue management. Proficiency in Python and SQL is required, with strong communication in English (German a plus). The role sits at HQ in Pullach near Munich and offers a hybrid working model, executive leadership exposure, and access to SIXT's AI platforms (Claude by Anthropic, SIXTgpt).
Required Qualifications
- degree in statistics, optimization, or related field
- deep experience in statistics, optimization, and data-driven problem solving
- advanced Python and SQL
- experience applying AI to analysis, decision systems, workflows, or products
- English fluency; German is a plus
