Job Summary
Lead and manage a regional Financial Reporting organization, providing strategic oversight of client relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery across the jurisdiction. Develop and execute business plans, establish operating frameworks, and provide technical guidance on complex financial statement disclosures, GAAP, and regulatory requirements. Serve as the senior escalation point for reporting and client issues while overseeing external auditor and regulator relationships to ensure compliance and timely filing. Drive operational excellence by implementing process improvements, automation, and AI use cases to enhance reporting quality and efficiency. Build and lead high-performing teams with accountability for talent management and succession planning. Partner with senior client representatives and audit leadership to foster trusted advisor relationships and support business growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience managing large teams of financial reporting professionals
- Deep technical accounting expertise across IFRS, U.S. GAAP, Lux GAAP, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
- Strong knowledge of investment fund structures, including mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, and alternative investments
- Proven success serving as a strategic partner to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving organizational outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives, balancing strategic priorities with disciplined execution and risk management
- Self-motivated leader with a continuous improvement mindset and a track record of driving operational excellence, innovation, and organizational change
- Experience leveraging digital capabilities, automation, and data-driven decision making to improve business performance
- Proven experience delivering Generative AI and AI-enabled solutions into production environments, with measurable business impact
- Strong client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments and build credibility across all levels of an organization
Desired Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Experience within a fund administrator, asset servicing organization, asset manager, or Big Four accounting firm with investment funds experience
