Job Summary
Oversee monthly integrations of ledger data from upstream systems into subledgers, coordinating processing, validation, and reconciliation for the month-end close cycle. Manage GL configuration, including cross-validation rules, revaluation, and security, while performing root cause analysis and resolving complex issues. Lead prioritized projects from requirements definition through production implementation, ensuring SOX compliance and supporting audits. Develop system documentation, training materials, and process improvements for the Oracle Cloud Financials ecosystem, acting as the liaison between finance, IT, and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in one of the following: Accounting, Finance, or MIS
- Minimum 7 years' experience as a functional administrator of financial systems
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Oracle Financials
- Ability to communicate clearly to business, IT, across global teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Display ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work by established deadlines
- Highly enthusiastic, analytical, methodical, and disciplined in nature
- Ability to adapt and adjust to unexpected circumstances
- Ability to multitask and proactively research remediations to questions or problems as they arise
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle ERP and/or EPM modules
- Experience with one or more Oracle reporting tools including: SmartView Narrative Reporting OTBI BI Publisher Financial Reporting
- Understanding of financial systems' modules, configurations, and integrations
- Preferred Experience & creativity in troubleshooting data conversions, integrations, and/or software application problems
- PL/SQL skills
- Insurance experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Oracle Financials (Oracle Cloud Financials, preferred)
