Job Summary
Manage strategic relationships with CIOs, CFOs, and senior decision-makers across Hong Kong insurance organizations to drive new revenue and originate enterprise-wide solutions spanning investments, capital optimization, and operating model enhancements. Develop individual client engagement strategies to uncover high-impact opportunities while articulating market and product narratives to sophisticated institutional investors. Collaborate with internal partners to solve complex client challenges, mentor junior team members, and provide timely updates on regional markets and pipeline opportunities to senior BlackRock leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in institutional fundraising
- Strong understanding of the asset management sales process for institutional investors
- Ability to originate and advance opportunities involving complex investment solutions
- Extensive internal and external stakeholder management
- Deep understanding of insurance balance sheet management
- Understanding of the impact of regulatory and accounting frameworks, including HKRBC, ICS, Solvency II, IFRS 17, and other relevant insurance capital regimes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to articulate market views, investment capabilities, and platform strengths clearly and effectively to sophisticated investors
- Ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
- Ability to communicate with impact
- Proven track record of developing deep client relationships
- Experience serving as a trusted advisor
- Established network across insurers' investment, finance, risk, and actuarial functions
- Strong intellectual curiosity
