Job Summary
Direct and oversee daily finance operations including accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and financial reporting while assisting the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and audits. Provide leadership to finance personnel, manage performance reviews, and ensure accuracy of monthly financial statements, regulatory filings, and bank reconciliations. Establish internal controls and monitor accounts receivable to support organizational decision-making and strategic objectives. Coordinate financial activities across affiliated entities and lead system implementation projects. This onsite role requires relocation to York, Nebraska and adherence to strict communication protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Ability to be sedentary 95% of working day, with occasional walking and standing
- Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting systems, and accounting software applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment in handling sensitive financial information
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Demonstrated management or supervisory experience
- Ability to establish effective working relationships
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
