Job Summary

Lead APAC Finance governance by ensuring controls are properly documented, monitored, and tested in line with Program Tempo requirements. Review and test controls for design and operating effectiveness, identify deficiencies, and monitor timely remediation implementation. Manage quarterly reporting and testing requirements while acting as the regional SOX Officer for Europe. Monitor incident reports, risk self-assessments, and change initiative assessments across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. Serve as the primary relationship manager with Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, external auditors, and business stakeholders. Complete Oversight Function effectiveness templates, attend OF Council meetings, and coordinate responses to regulatory reports. Refresh Finance Regulatory Group Topics annually and evaluate the adequacy of RCM controls to address regulatory changes.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of banking products and associated risks and controls
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn and able to work both independently and within a team
  • Strong written skills with the ability to enhance existing documents and procedures
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • General ledger and source system understanding
  • Valid work or study permit
  • Legal eligibility to work at the location(s) specified

Desired Qualifications

  • ACA qualified or CPA equivalent
  • At least 3 years PQE experience of working within Investment Banking and / or Big 4 experience
