Job Summary
Lead the country affiliate as the primary finance representative and trusted advisor to the General Manager and local Leadership Team. Partner with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, and HR functions to support strategic decision-making, evaluate business cases, and provide objective financial recommendations for resource allocation and investment. Manage the annual budget, re-forecasts, and three-year operating plan while coordinating month-end close activities between local stakeholders and regional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Oversee statutory compliance, tax activities, and external audits, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards. Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, implement regional systems and controls, and identify risks to support the evolution of the European finance operating model.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibilities in a multinational environment
- Strong experience in FP&A, business partnering, statutory reporting, governance and internal controls
Desired Qualifications
- professional accounting qualification preferred
- Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or other regulated industries preferred
- Experience operating within a regional shared services finance model is highly desirable
