Job Summary
Develop comprehensive financial models to evaluate M&A opportunities, capital investments, and strategic business initiatives while providing impact analysis and scenario planning for executive decision-making. Lead annual budgeting processes and prepare monthly and quarterly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasts with variance analysis to ensure forecast accuracy. Partner with functional leaders across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and R&D to translate financial data into actionable insights supporting KPI achievement. Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the C-suite on significant contracts, partnerships, and commercial decisions, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. Drive process innovation through automation and AI-enabled tools to reduce cycle times and build a high-performing FP&A team. Fully remote position with unlimited PTO and ongoing training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of progressive financial experience in roles of increasing responsibility
- demonstrating deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Demonstrated experience in high-growth environments, particularly in private equity-backed organizations or acquisitive corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, FP&A, and financial reporting
- expert-level knowledge of forecasting methodologies, variance analysis, and scenario planning
- Proven track record identifying and driving process improvements, implementing automation solutions, and leveraging AI and emerging tools to enhance financial operations and reduce cycle times
- Deep understanding of industry-specific KPIs, business metrics, and how to translate financial data into actionable business insights that drive operational performance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences including executive leaders and boards
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
