Job Summary
Lead the accounting and finance functions, safeguarding internal controls and delivering accurate reporting to drive profitable decisions. Advise the General Manager on financial performance, profitability, and business strategy while managing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and GOP goals. Oversee AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and cash management to control costs and achieve revenue targets. Recruit, coach, and develop the accounting team through clear accountability and succession planning. Present financial insights to ownership and corporate leadership to support sound operational decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- at least 5 years in financial leadership
- comparable progressive hotel finance experience
- Extensive background in budgeting
- Extensive background in forecasting
- Extensive background in P&L reporting
- Extensive background in account reconciliation
- strong analytical skills for data interpretation
- strong analytical skills for problem-solving
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
- Advanced proficiency with POS/PMS systems
- proven leadership and communication abilities for team development
- proven leadership and communication abilities for presentations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
