Job Summary
Director, Finance Business Partner – Sales & Marketing (Americas) serves as the primary finance partner for Americas Sales and Marketing leaders, translating regional go-to-market strategies into actionable financial plans that drive profitable growth. Responsible for strategic finance partnership, headcount planning, territory design, channel strategy, and marketing investment allocation; owns annual planning, quarterly forecasting, long-range outlooks for regional Sales & Marketing functions including revenue and opex; develops customer-level P&Ls and analytics, supports pricing and promotions, ROI of campaigns, and ROI of sales initiatives; partners with Sales Operations to design incentive plans and with accounting on month-end close; drives continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting quality, and financial transparency; champions process simplification, automation, and cross-functional initiatives; requires 8–12+ years, with MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience in FP&A or commercial finance roles
- Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, GTM, or Revenue organizations
- Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI evaluation
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority through data-driven insights and sound judgment
- Demonstrated success driving process improvements and operating rigor across cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to executive audiences
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
