Job Summary
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for Blockchain & Digital Currencies, overseeing month-end financial close and analyzing variances to communicate risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders. Proactively manage financial risks across revenues, expenses, and investments while serving as a trusted advisor to product, engineering, and regional leaders to influence strategic decisions. Coordinate quarterly forecasts and divisional budgets, leading detailed personnel and vendor forecasting to align resources against financial commitments. Own internal and corporate reporting deliverables, including operating reviews and executive updates, while identifying process improvements to strengthen financial discipline. Partner with stakeholders to evaluate vendor negotiations and investment proposals, driving data-driven execution against organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Strong proficiency in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance and accounting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management skills including superior organization, planning, and follow through
- Able to foster a positive team environment and collaborate to produce outstanding results
- Able to work independently, prioritize effectively and drive process improvement initiatives
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and experience with financial systems/applications (e.g., Hyperion and Oracle)
