Job Summary
Monitor financial performance of assigned ministries to ensure achievement of financial targets and support productivity and revenue cycle goals. Assist in the production of accurate financial statements, review monthly statements, and collaborate with regional finance teams on budget variance analysis and strategic planning. Lead special projects, facilitate capital projects, and develop dashboards to inform operational plans and service line economics. Coordinate monthly financial reviews with ministry administrators and participate in management meetings to drive decision-making. This role requires a CPA or HFMA/FACHE holder with 10+ years of experience in healthcare finance. The position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) in Anchorage, AK.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10 or more years of closely related experience
- 8 years of experience in a leadership role or capacity
- Ability to use mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Ability to analyze information, evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
- Ability to analyze information gathered by investigation, and report findings and recommendations
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of financial principles and practices and the ability to apply them effectively
- Effective written communication skills as appropriate for the needs of the audience
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations; live, via online or virtual mediums as needed to support leaders throughout assigned ministries
- Excellent collaboration and team building skills
- Effective conflict management skills
- Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, executive management, and other stakeholders through positive interaction and problem identification and resolution
- Knowledge and understanding of the trends and changes taking place in health care

- Leaders will be required to work a hybrid schedule, which consists of three days onsite, two days remote and live within a reasonable commuting distance to the ministry or service area they support and lead
