Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in U.S. federal public policy and/or advocacy (Congress, relevant federal agencies or departments, and/or support of major companies)
- Experience serving as primary liaison to congressional committees of jurisdiction (Energy and Commerce; Senate Commerce)
- Demonstrated networks and relationships with U.S. policy stakeholders and organizations to advance policy outcomes
- Ability to develop policy positions, align internal and external stakeholders, and translate political and policy intelligence into business strategy
- Experience monitoring, analyzing, and communicating federal legislation, regulations, and trends impacting the business
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience shaping automotive technology policy (AI, data, privacy, safety tech, robotics)
- Ability to influence senior leadership and business units and advise GPP leadership
