Job Summary

Oversee HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and building automation systems across the Minnesota campus and secondary facility while governing multi-year master plans, preventive maintenance, and business continuity. Establish lease administration and portfolio management, partnering with brokers to execute new transactions and manage external stakeholders. Own executive-level accountability for OSHA, EPA, and MPCA compliance, championing a safe culture through programs covering LOTO, HazCom, confined space, and environmental controls specific to print manufacturing. Build and execute a global security strategy spanning access control, CCTV, guard force management, and threat assessments, establishing duty-of-care programs for hybrid employees. Lead multi-year capital plans from concept to commissioning, apply Lean methodologies to drive efficiency, and govern a global vendor framework across facilities, environmental, and security providers. Coach a multi-disciplinary team of technicians, engineers, and EH&S professionals across multiple shifts, building depth through succession planning and talent development.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in facilities, EH&S, and/or physical security within large-scale manufacturing
  • 8+ years in senior leadership with multi-disciplinary teams, capital budgets exceeding $1M, and multi-site/global scope
  • Proven leadership in 24/5 or 24/7 environments with 500+ employees in a 500,000+ sq ft facility
  • Track record managing complex capital projects from concept through commissioning
  • Experience designing physical security programs across international jurisdictions, ideally including Latin America
  • Demonstrated duty-of-care experience for international or remote/hybrid employees
  • Measurable EH&S performance improvement (OSHA recordable/DART rate reduction)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
  • Deep familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EPA/RCRA/Clean Air & Water Acts, MPCA requirements, NFPA standards, building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire/life-safety), and platforms such as Intelex, Cority, or Velocity EHS

Desired Qualifications

  • Print, binding, fulfillment, or converting operations experience strongly preferred
  • MBA or M.S. strongly preferred
  • CSP, CIH, CHMM, CFM, FMP, CPP, PSP, PMP, CEM, or Six Sigma Black Belt—held or actively pursued
  • ISO or other program implementations and management
  • Enterprise security platforms and AI-enabled analytics
  • Corporate global security, threat intelligence, or crisis management background
  • Energy management programs with measurable kWh/water/waste reductions
  • Real-time monitoring dashboards for facilities performance and compliance reporting
