Director, Executive Communications (Healthcare Company)

Job Summary
Director, Executive Communications for a healthcare company. Lead the creation of executive speeches, presentations, and written materials for the CEO and senior leaders, including internal/external communications, press releases, blogs, and social media. Collaborate with senior leaders to craft messages for diverse audiences and channels, manage timelines and cross-disciplinary initiatives, and ensure content aligns with the company’s culture and strategic initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Journalism/Public Relations/Communications, at least 10 years of relevant experience with 5+ years in writing/editing executive communications, strong project-management and communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, travel with short notice, and flexibility to work extended hours in a 24/7 production environment. The role is fully remote with PST alignments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Journalism, Public Relations or Communications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with 5+ years writing and editing experience (corporate/executive communications preferred)
- Excellent project management skills, including experience building and executing new programs and managing them to scale
- Ability to solicit feedback and incorporate it quickly while meeting deadlines
- Must quickly learn to adapt writing to different voices and styles
- Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
- Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
