Job Summary
Director, APAC Events & Experience leads the APAC events strategy and regional portfolio across live, hybrid, and digital formats for Dow Jones brands (The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, etc.). Oversees concept-to-execution, budget management, vendor partnerships, sponsorship integration, and cross-functional collaboration with editorial, commercial, and production teams. Drives scalable event solutions, operational excellence, and innovative attendee experiences while staying aligned with brand, editorial, and commercial objectives. Oversees onsite execution with a high standard of professionalism, mentors regional teams, and partners with Marketing, Sales, and Editorial to deliver world-class events across Asia Pacific. Required: 12-15 years of high-profile events leadership, deep production knowledge, strong budget and stakeholder management, travel flexibility across APAC, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 12-15 years of experience leading and producing high-profile events across live, hybrid and virtual formats
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Excellent understanding of technical production, digital event platforms and hybrid audience engagement
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets, multiple stakeholders and competing priorities across multiple markets
- Strong commercial acumen and experience supporting sponsorship and client-driven event initiatives
- Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness and flexibility to travel across APAC and internationally as required
- Ability to adapt to conflicting time zones
- Highly collaborative and team-oriented attitude
- Travel readiness across APAC regions
