Job Summary

Develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies and policies to ensure regulatory compliance and enhance workplace safety. Oversee the creation and enforcement of safety protocols and procedures across all operational levels to minimize health risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional VPs, Directors, Plant Management, and global EHS teams, to integrate safety practices into daily operations and drive innovations in workplace safety. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of EHS programs globally while monitoring safety performance metrics. Develop and oversee physical security strategies and plans across all facilities, including site security assessments, incident response planning, and on-the-job security training. Requires 10+ years of experience developing and enforcing safety protocols across multi-sites, with 7+ years leading EHS strategies and driving innovations. OSHA 30 certification required within 180 days, with CSP certification required within one year. 40% overnight domestic travel to locations throughout North America and occasional international travel are necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Related Field
  • 10+ Years Developing and enforcing safety protocols
  • 10+ Years Developing and enforcing safety protocols, including across multi-sites
  • 7+ Years Leading EHS strategies and policy implementation
  • 7+ Years Driving innovations in workplace safety
  • 5+ Years Collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • 5+ Years Experience leading EHS professionals (solid or dotted line reporting)
  • Experience and knowledge of OSHA, EPA, Incident Investigation
  • OSHA Inspection & Compliance Worker's Compensation experience
  • OSHA 30 - Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
  • CSP certification to demonstrate expertise in safety management within 180 Days
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) - Board of Certified Safety Professionals
  • CSP certification to demonstrate expertise in safety management within 1 Year
  • Associate Safety Professionals (ASP) - Board of Certified Safety Professionals
  • OSHA 511 - Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
  • Ability to lead and influence teams at all levels
  • Policy Development
  • Safety Training Delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Incident Response
  • 40% Overnight domestic travel
  • Occasional international travel
