Job Summary
Director, Engineering responsible for architecture, design, development, quality and performance engineering of enterprise software products; provides technical and strategic leadership to multiple engineering teams; leads development of cloud-native applications, microservices/micro-frontend architecture on Azure using C#.NET Core, ReactJS, and related tools; drives agile lifecycle, code quality, performance, and AI-assisted development; mentors engineers and collaborates with product, quality, and leadership to deliver scalable, enterprise platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of product development experience with enterprise grade products
- 6+ years of hands-on and strategic experience in leading cloud native product engineering teams
- Extensive experience with C#, .NET Core, Azure Cloud Services and DevOps
- Working knowledge of React and TypeScript
- Proven experience in automating development lifecycle using AI tools (Claude, CoPilot, MCP)
- Strong experience in Micro-Services and/or Micro-Frontend architecture
- Strong experience in container-based development (AKS, Service Fabric)
- Experience with messaging queue systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Experience in architecting event-driven distributed applications using cloud native services (Azure preferred)
- Strong experience in relational and No-SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MS SQL Server)
- Experience integrating LLMs, vector databases, RAG into production apps (preferable)
- Experience owning end-to-end development of multiple products/solutions (including testing, performance testing, deployment)
- Strong knowledge of code quality, code monitoring, performance engineering, test automation tools
- Experience coaching/guiding/leading teams of full stack engineers
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Quality, Exec leadership)
