Job Summary
Lead technical architecture for the TransitOS platform convergence, designing scalable solution architectures, integration patterns, APIs, and enterprise data models that unify six industry-leading platforms. Establish architecture standards and governance across engineering teams while evaluating build-versus-buy decisions and reducing technical debt. Partner with Product, Executive Leadership, and customers to translate architecture into clear epics, facilitate backlog refinement, and present technical strategies during demonstrations and RFPs. Resolve technical ambiguity throughout the SDLC and ensure solutions meet business objectives and architectural standards. This hands-on role defines the foundation for AI-driven innovation across fixed route, demand response, and NEMT domains within a fast-growing SaaS company.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or senior technical leadership experience
- 3+ years working within transit, mobility, transportation technology, or closely related industries
- Deep experience with Enterprise Solution Architecture
- Deep experience with API Design
- Deep experience with Data Modeling
- Deep experience with System Integration
- Deep experience with Cloud-based SaaS platforms
- Deep experience with Non-functional requirements including security, scalability, performance, and availability
- Experience governing architecture across multiple engineering teams
- Strong understanding of Agile development and PI Planning
- Exceptional communication skills with both technical and business audiences
