Job Summary
Director, Employee Relations responsible for defining and executing ER strategy in the United States and EMEA, building and leading a high-performing ER team, coaching investigators, and partnering with HRBPs, Employment Legal, and regional leaders to mitigate risk and ensure compliant, fair practices. Role includes managing complex investigations, producing investigative documentation, analyzing casework trends, driving global programs and process automation, and supporting a high-performance culture transformation. Requires strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence at all levels while maintaining an inclusive workplace. Travel up to ~15% and alignment with WD’s talent philosophy and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Human Resources
- 3+ years leading complex investigations
- 5+ years of leadership experience, developing high performing teams
- This role may require approximately 15% travel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management
- Experience working in a global company leading cross-functional regional and global projects of significant scope, complexity, and of a highly sensitive nature
- Demonstrated success leading programs and driving process improvements
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Robust understanding of HR concepts (employment law, compliance, engagement, retention, performance)
