Job Summary
Director - Employee Development & Learning to design and lead an enterprise learning and development strategy aligned with company objectives and business outcomes. Responsible for core skills, functional skills, and people management & leadership development; shapes systems and processes to strengthen performance, engagement, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. Provides strategic consultation to leaders, oversees enterprise learning programs that build technical capabilities, drives leadership development and talent review processes, coaches leaders on feedback culture and development planning, manages the team supporting development and learning, and establishes scalable learning operations, governance, and analytics. Partners with stakeholders to identify capability needs, translate them into targeted learning strategies, leads talent pipelines and succession readiness, and collaborates across regions with external vendors to ensure program effectiveness and contract alignment. Includes in-office NY-based role with a flexible remote-work arrangement (one day per week) and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience
- experience supporting executive leaders and enterprise efforts in Strategic Feedback Systems, Performance Architecture, Operational and Data literacy, Talent Pipeline Management (succession planning)
- Strong capability in organizational design, change management, and leadership coaching
- 4+ years of leadership and team management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Management, Organizational Psychology, Industrial/Organization or related degree preferred
- Preferred: ICF credentials (ACC or PCC) and/or advanced degree (MBA, MS HR)
