Job Summary
Drive consistency, quality, and innovation across the Western Canada distribution business through standardized processes, digital transformation, and performance metrics. Oversee day-to-day operations from proposal to delivery, manage key account growth, and lead strategic initiatives for profitability and market expansion. Develop long-term staffing strategies, ensure engineering excellence and commercial risk management, and resolve contractual issues with the PM team. Build relationships with senior client personnel, enforce health, safety, and quality regulations, and foster a high-performance culture through coaching and mentoring. Report KPI status at monthly energy sector meetings and travel to project sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil or electrical preferred)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of technical Electrical Distribution design experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years of team management experience
- Registered member of Engineer and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) or be eligible to register
- Valid Canadian Driver's License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional initiative and attention to detail
- Excellent leadership, positive attitude and communication skills
- An entrepreneurial approach and the ability to take on challenges in a changing environment
- Ability to collaborate with remote partners and team members
- Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence
- Ideally the role will be based in our Vancouver, BC office, however other Western Canada office locations, including Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton will also be considered for the right candidate
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of French is an asset
