Job Summary
Drive consistency, quality, and innovation across the Western Canada distribution business through standardized processes, digital transformation, and performance metrics. Oversee day-to-day operations from proposal to project delivery while managing key account growth, client relationships, and market expansion. Lead strategic initiatives, workforce planning, and engineering governance to ensure operational excellence and profitability. Interrogate contract performance, mitigate contractual issues, and align delivery standards with client expectations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations while fostering a high-performance culture through coaching and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil or electrical preferred)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of technical Electrical Distribution design experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years of team management experience
- Registered member of Engineer and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) or be eligible to register
- Valid Canadian Driver's License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional initiative and attention to detail
- Excellent leadership, positive attitude and communication skills
- An entrepreneurial approach and the ability to take on challenges in a changing environment
- Ability to collaborate with remote partners and team members
- Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence
- Ideally the role will be based in our Vancouver, BC office, however other Western Canada office locations, including Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton will also be considered for the right candidate
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of French is an asset
