Job Summary
Drive consistency, quality, and innovation across the Western Canada electrical distribution business through standardized processes, digital transformation, and performance metrics. Oversee day-to-day operations from proposal to delivery while owning strategic client relationships, key account growth, and market expansion across utility clients. Manage long-term staffing strategies, workforce planning, and succession planning to ensure capacity for future demand. Interrogate contract profitability and risks, support the PM team on contractual issues, and enforce engineering excellence and safety standards. Lead business development, operational management, and delivery of CIMA+ Energy & Resources projects, aligning delivery requirements with client expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil or electrical preferred)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of technical Electrical Distribution design experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years of team management experience
- Registered member of Engineer and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) or be eligible to register
- Valid Canadian Driver's License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional initiative and attention to detail
- Excellent leadership, positive attitude and communication skills
- An entrepreneurial approach and the ability to take on challenges in a changing environment
- Ability to collaborate with remote partners and team members
- Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence
- Ideally the role will be based in our Vancouver, BC office, however other Western Canada office locations, including Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton will also be considered for the right candidate
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of French is an asset
