Job Summary
Integrate environmental health and safety services into business practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee all OU/Regional business activities related to EHS services, including direct interaction with EHS Staff, Superintendents, Project Managers, Project Executives, Area Safety Directors, and Operating Unit EVPs and General Managers. Manage direct reports and identify safety hazards to recommend appropriate controls within a construction environment. Requires 10+ years of safety experience, OSHA 30 certification, and strong communication skills. Full-time onsite role in Portland, OR.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a role assigned to the identification of safety hazards and recommending appropriate controls
- 10+ years of experience in a safety role that required communication with employees at all levels in a construction environment
- OSHA 30 certification
- 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety management, engineering, or equivalent or 10 years of safety experience
