Job Summary
Inspire and develop a team of dedicated educators through coaching, mentoring, and professional growth while championing instructional excellence and ensuring compliance with State Board of Education standards. Design and implement innovative educational programs that respond to evolving student needs, partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure Individualized Education Program (IEP) fidelity, and lead Program Planning and Placement Team meetings. Foster an inclusive learning environment by driving continuous improvement through data evaluation, maintaining accreditation standards, and building strong relationships with families and stakeholders. This role requires a Master's degree, Connecticut Special Education endorsement, and seven years of educational leadership experience. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree with required coursework for appropriate certification
- Connecticut Special Education endorsement (165, 265, or 065)
- Seven or more years of progressively responsible educational leadership experience, including at least five years in a management role
- Demonstrated success leading educators and building collaborative teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decision-making
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfort leveraging technology to improve educational outcomes
- A mission-driven mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
