Job Summary
Director, Distribution Supply Chain Order Fulfillment leads the BGS Distribution Supply Chain Order Fulfillment team across global distribution activities, including order management and recovering customer commitments. Manages a geographically dispersed team (domestic and international) and partners with Planning, Procurement, Distribution and Warehousing to optimize the distribution value stream, drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance with distribution policies. Interfaces with customers on order management and recoveries and works with internal stakeholders to enable world-class performance. Relocation is offered based on candidate eligibility. Requires senior-level leadership experience, strong cross-functional collaboration, and a proven track record in high-volume, global logistics and program management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a senior leader or senior manager
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general supply chain and/or program management
- Minimum 3 years of experience collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Experience in order fulfillment and production control
- Experience speaking to senior executive leadership and customers
- Experience in a high-volume operations environment
- Bachelor's degree or higher (or foreign equivalent) (preferred)
- Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen to influence and shape strategy
- Experience in logistics and supply chain for a global organization (10+ years preferred)
- Experience establishing and tracking KPIs
- Understanding of Lean, continuous/process improvement methodology
- Experience leading culture and organizational transformation
- Experience with program management, customer/supplier relationship, and performance recovery
- Strong leadership style that motivates excellence and innovation
- Track record of meeting or exceeding targets and strong program execution
