Job Summary
The Director Distribution Data Officer is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring data quality, accessibility, and governance within the Distribution data domain. This role manages data steward squads, implements data governance practices, and aligns data capabilities with business objectives. Key responsibilities include acting as the accountable leader for data quality, executing the enterprise data strategy, overseeing governance implementation, and bridging business and technical alignment. The position requires strong strategic thinking, experience in data governance, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data leadership roles
- Proven track record in leading data quality initiatives and executing data strategy within a domain
- Strong expertise in data governance frameworks, metadata management, and regulatory compliance
- Experience in managing and mentoring data steward teams
- Ability to develop and execute data product roadmaps
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities
- Experience working within data operating models
- Excellent communication and influence skills
