Job Summary
Director - Diagnostics Partnering leads biopharma partnerships and drives co-development opportunities for NGS and IHC-based profiling and companion diagnostics in oncology. Serves as strategic BD lead to manage diagnostic partnerships from evaluation through deal closing, defines partnership value propositions, oversees joint go-to-market plans, and ensures alignment on launch timing, geographies, messaging, and field deployment. Requires strong understanding of the precision oncology landscape, ability to build cross-functional initiatives, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Preferred MBA or equivalent commercial experience; deep knowledge of NGS technologies, biomarker strategies, and regulatory pathways for Dx in global markets. Physical demands include long periods at a computer and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- MS or PhD in molecular biology, genomics, oncology, or related field
- A minimum of 8 years professional work experience
- 5+ years of experience in the molecular diagnostics, biopharma, or precision medicine sectors, with a clear focus on diagnostics and oncology
- Business Development experience (lead diligences, deal sheets, contracting)
- Experience as the external face of the organization and leading BD partnering events
