Director, Development

Supervise and mentor a team of development professionals focused on grants management and individual giving, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team culture. Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies that drive revenue growth from individual donors, foundations, corporations, and the Board of Directors, while managing the grants staff to execute end-to-end development of institutional funding proposals. Provide strategic guidance for donor stewardship, collaborate with leadership on revenue forecasting, and represent the organization externally with funders and partners. Occasionally work nights and weekends for Scholar and Development events, and attend mandatory all-staff events. Must live in the Chicagoland area.
